Celebrate Pass on the Gift Month
There's a new tradition at Heifer International and it's happening during the month of April.
People of all cultures will celebrate Heifer's model of Passing on the Gift by sharing resources and opportunity. Our goal is to make a positive change in the world.
Everyone who receives a gift from Heifer International agrees to pass on what they have been given to someone else in need. This is the beauty and power of Passing on the Gift: It ensures not only that the gifts of livestock and training help twice as many families, but also that Heifer project participants progress from beneficiary to benefactor. Every Heifer gift ripples outward, like a large stone tossed into a pond, with each ripple touching more and more lives.
This simple concept of Pass on the Gift has changed communities around the world for over 60 years, ending hunger and poverty in a sustainable way. It's worth celebrating!

Our goal is to buy a herd of Water Buffaloes. Each one cost $250 and Tom and I pledge to double your donation up to $750. Any amount will help us reach that goal.
I also promise to send a signed photo to anyone who donates and sends me a request for a photo through my website. Be sure to include your mailing address.
On May 1, I will go through all the donations and the requests for autographs to determine the four most generous donors. I will then send those four, a special "thank you" gift from me along with the signed photo.
In case of a draw, I will do a blind drawing to name the winners.
